Role
Our prestigious college is seeking an experienced and organised Examinations Co-ordinator to support our Examinations Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring student registrations, claims, results, post-results services, and examination scheduling/timetabling are delivered efficiently and timely.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact/deputise in the absence of the Examinations Manager to support with inspections, the day-to-day operational concerns and to closely liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and develop systems to manage and coordinate all aspects of the exams administration process.
- Ensure the timely registration of students onto their qualifications with the appropriate awarding bodies, adhering to all deadline dates.
- Share with managers and teachers all aspects of the examinations cycle, providing updates throughout the academic year, as required by awarding bodies.
- Communicate clear internal deadlines and processes for gathering/sharing exam-related information from/with managers and teachers.
- Ensure that accurate and timely applications for Access Arrangements and Special Considerations are made with awarding bodies.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and awarding body specific regulations for the conduct of examinations.
- Be responsible for the security, storage, and distribution of examination/assessment materials in accordance with awarding body regulations, including the management of external examinations.
- Fully co-operate with JCQ and awarding body inspections of examinations provision, including access arrangements (in conjunction with the Head of Learning Support).
- Ensure that examinations have appropriate accommodation and are facilitated by suitably trained invigilators.
- Respond to queries relating to examination results.
Key Tasks:
- Effectively use internal and external systems to submit and manage awarding body registration, entry data, and results information.
- Produce an examinations timetable, specific to the College, for use by staff.
- Co-ordinate and deliver training of exam conduct, regulations, invigilation, and other associated administrative processes.
- Communicate exam timetables to teaching staff and students, as appropriate.
- Collect, collate and return completed examination papers, course work, and any other documentation as specified by an awarding body.
- Collate exam papers and packs for students and invigilators.
- Complete spot checks on examinations and assessments to ensure the integrity of the activity that is taking place.
- Undertake internal audit checks to ensure compliance with JCQ, awarding body, and funding agency rules.
- Monitor the Exams email address and resolve any queries that may arise.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in examinations administration.
- Experience in exams administration and compliance.
- Knowledge of Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and awarding body specific regulations for the conduct of examinations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- A commitment to safeguarding, Prevent, and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
