What's involved with this role: Temporary Admin/Receptionist - Crematorium/Bereavement Services Job Ref: Guildford 5258623 Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3 months City: Guildford, Surrey Basic DBS disclosure required for this role The purpose of the role is to provide general admin support to the team including data entry, filing, record keeping, scanning, booking appointments. Key Responsibilities: Input of legal and medical papers relating to cremation bookings. Undertake telephone and reception duties. Process requests for webcasts and tributes and allocate finance. Communicate with coroner’s office, medical practice, and funeral directors to resolve issues with medical and legal papers and appointments. Assisting funeral directors and families in the collection of memorials, ashes, and paperwork. Flexible to changing demands and different priorities in the role. Qualifications: 5 GCSE's, Grades A-C, or equivalent including English and Mathematics. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation. Excellent communication skills with a strong customer facing/service background. Strong administrative and processing skills. Good organisational skills with the ability to take the initiative and prioritise workloads. High accuracy rates on data entry as what is entered can form legal documents. A proactive and flexible approach to changing workloads and demands. Ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative. Ability to work under pressure to changing demands. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite, Mosaic).
