Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Switchboard Agent to be responsible to direct calls both internal and external to the correct departments, helping the guests with their general requirements both on the phone and in the Business Centre. This is a full time, 40 hours a week role. The Switchboard Agent key Responsibilities will include: To answer calls in an effective and helpful manner, ensuring that all calls are directed to the correct department / extension. Ensuring that all faxes and messages are recorded accurately, and that they are delivered to the guest by the relevant department quickly and efficiently. Co-ordinating information with reception to ensure that airline wake-up calls are received on time. As well as wake-up calls for other guests. Ensure that all telephone charges are posted correctly and balanced each day. Responsible to alerting staff via the radio if the fire panel indicates a problem, or any other emergency.
