As a senior leader within the Global Operations Team, the Director of Logistics, UK and Europe will support and collaborate closely with our UK partners, planning, distribution, IT and 3PL partners to ensure all service expectations are met. The ideal person for this role will be a seasoned and motivational senior people leader with experience of driving performance and operational excellence. This role will support sales, marketing, operations and fulfilment strategies. The ideal candidate for this position has extensive experience with retail supply chain with extensive 3PL, transportation and purchase order management.
You'll be;
* Responsible for the overall UK and European supply chain team.
* Collaborating with Supply Chain leadership on the overall management of the fulfilment and distribution network.
* Leading and working collaboratively to deliver on the goals of the European supply chain.
* Driving operational and cost efficiencies across the supply chain while maintaining high standards.
* Owning order management, transportation, and fulfilment for multi-channel businesses.
* Successfully leading, maintaining and managing third-party relationships.
* Coordinating weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings, generating reports to review operations.
* Owning the budgeting and financial management for all Europe logistics and transportation.
* Collaborating with forecasting teams to create plans and help design infrastructure to support fulfilment.
* Reviewing the current inventory and replenishment processes across the supply chain to improve the end-to-end supply chain.
* Conducting 3PL site visits and managing carrier relationships.
* Setting up operational KPIs and ensuring their delivery.
* Leading the development of a culture of continuous improvement.
* Managing both direct and indirect reports' performance against objectives and goals.
* Developing engagement and empowerment at all levels within the Logistics team by upskilling team members and ensuring clarity of role responsibilities and performance expectations.
* Providing mentorship and coaching to both direct reports and the wider supply chain team.
You'll have;
* A degree in Business, Supply Chain or Information Systems.
* 5+ years of experience leading managers in retail supply chain.
* Proven experience in a senior supply chain leadership role within a high-growth scale-up environment.
* The ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, founder-led business.
* Experience in managing operations for B2B, DTC, and retail businesses.
* A strong analytical and operational mindset.
* The ability to lead and develop a team through coaching and authentic leadership.
* ERP experience, with Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
* Project management experience in logistics.
* Experience managing 3PL and carrier relationships.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
