Mobilisation and Operations Manager - 12 Month FTC (Can be based in London or Hinxton)

Job Description
We are seeking 3 x Mobilisation and Operation Managers on a 12-month fixed-term contract. They will play a key part in delivering our Newborns Programme research study across several NHS Trusts in England.
As a Mobilisation and Operations Manager, you will support site selection, setup, readiness, monitoring, and study coordination. You will establish new relationships with NHS Trusts and collaborate with the Newborns Programme Team and other stakeholders to implement our mobilisation plan and support ongoing recruitment for the research study.
Responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with the Genomics Medicine Service Alliances to identify and set up NHS Trust sites for the study, ensuring smooth handovers.
* Supporting amendments, R&D submissions, and study documentation planning, involving input from recruitment sites.
* Building relationships with stakeholders such as midwives, nurses, clinicians, and research staff to support and inform the study.
* Serving as the primary contact for local site staff, maintaining contact databases, issuing communications, and coordinating meetings.
* Managing site readiness frameworks and reporting on setup progress to ensure timely initiation and recruitment.
* Supporting implementation of workstreams like staff training, site initiation, consent procedures, sample management, logistics, and performance monitoring.
* Assisting with contracts, local capacity, and approvals with site partners, ensuring compliance.
* Participating in regular meetings to review delivery, identify constraints, and suggest operational improvements.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have strong presentation and facilitation skills, stakeholder management, clear communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. A collaborative mindset and experience in health research or clinical trials within the NHS are preferred.
Travel to NHS Trusts in England may be required up to twice a month.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience is valued equally to industry qualifications.
