We now have exciting opportunities for Costs Lawyers/Draftspersons and other legal costs professionals to join our expanding team within CL Medilaw. The costs team plays a key role within our thriving and growing team which includes working with the legal teams and advising on all aspects of the costs process. There are several opportunities at all levels so whatever your experience get in touch to find out more about our business and how you can become part of it.
The ideal candidates will have some understanding of legal costs and be comfortable with figures.
Roles and Key Responsibilities
* Preparing costs schedules and bills of costs and advising on recoveries
* Preparing replies to points of dispute and other documents required during the costs process
* Preparing costs budgets
* Negotiating budgets and overall settlements
* Liaising with other costs team members and the wider CL Medilaw team
We are also looking to recruit an experienced, self-motivated costs negotiator (full or part time) who can successfully manage a varied caseload and maintain focus on progressing cases to settlement/detailed assessment.
Successful applicants will become a key part of our team providing support to seriously injured children and adults, and helping us achieve our purpose of changing their lives for the better in the way we work with them and the outcomes we achieve.
