Duties
* Meet with clients to discuss their legal needs and provide advice on family law matters.
* Handle a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and financial settlements.
* Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case preparation.
* Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, and court orders.
* Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
* Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties to resolve disputes amicably.
* Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and developments.
* Work closely with other legal professionals, including barristers, paralegals, and legal assistants.
* Ensure all legal activities comply with current laws and regulations.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and case details.
* Stay updated on changes in family law and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience
* Must be a qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
* Extensive experience in family law.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
