We are currently looking for English tutors in Lincoln and the surrounding areas (Spalding, Grimsby, Gainsborough etc) to take on the growing number of tuition across Lincolnshire. Our tutors need to consistently present themselves as driven and professional educators, with the young person’s needs at the heart of all their work.
The pay for tutoring is £25-30 per hour. It is desirable for the applicants to hold a full UK driving licence as a selection of the pupils may need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.
Requirements for the role:
1. A solid grasp of the English Language to convey themselves to students.
2. A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.
3. An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).
4. Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.
5. Classroom/1-1 teaching experience desirable, as well as knowledge of up-to-date safeguarding training for those in education.
6. An excellent understanding of the English Language and Literature curriculum (AQA).
7. Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
