An exciting opportunity is available for a RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a multiple award-winning Architects & Interior Design Practice located in their brand-new contemporary studio space in Leeds City Centre, LS1.
With a reputation as one of the "go-to Practices" in Leeds and Manchester, this modern, forward-thinking design led practice, renowned for their work both nationally and internationally, is now looking for a talented RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant with ideally 1-2 years of UK-based architectural practice experience to join their growing team of 16.
The practice works across a diverse range of design sectors, with a particular focus on Residential projects. Initially, this role will involve working on Student Accommodation and High-Rise developments, with opportunities to expand into the Leisure and Hospitality sectors, areas where the practice has built a strong reputation.
Projects within the company portfolio range from small-scale to large developments valued at up to £100m. The Leeds studio (head office) hosts an established and structured team of design professionals, including Architects, Senior Architects, Associates, and Directors, supported by a highly skilled Technical team. The firm offers an excellent working environment, fostering professional growth and internal career progression-many senior members have advanced within the company after joining in junior roles over a decade ago.
The studio boasts a prime city-centre location, just a 3-minute walk from Leeds train station, making it a highly accessible and dynamic workplace.
The ideal candidate will have
RIBA Part 2 qualification with 1-2 years of experience in a UK-based architectural practice.
Experience working across various RIBA Work Stages is beneficial.
Project experience in Residential or Commercial sectors (Student Accommodation & High-Rise preferred).
A strong working knowledge of REVIT/BIM, as well as AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.
Excellent communication skills (both written & spoken English).
Ambition to progress and develop professionally within the practice.
A strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical competence.
A proactive and collaborative approach, contributing positively to the dynamic team culture.

Competitive salary in line with experience between £26,500 - £28,500
