Alongside general administrative responsibilities, this role will also involve supporting tasks set by our Head of Administration. In addition, the role will provide administrative support to Workforce Development (Human Resources), and offer ad-hoc support to other bemix projects as needed. With this in mind, the position would be well suited to someone with transferable skills or previous experience in an administrative role — particularly those with a background in recruitment or HR administration. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment. The role requires someone with an excellent level of IT proficiency, particularly with the Google Suite — including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and the ability to create presentations and webforms. Confidence in learning and using web-based platforms, such as our internal system Podio, is also essential. Job Description Main aim: You will be a responsive main point of contact for the bemix mainline, handling external incoming calls and emails. Working as part of the uplifting and committed Administration Team, you’ll take responsibility for a diverse and interesting range of tasks — including supporting Workforce Development (HR) administration, general company-wide administrative work, and offering support across various bemix projects. The role will require an in-office presence to support with incoming administrative tasks effectively, welcome visitors, support our colleagues who work in the same building, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role calls for someone who can work reliably and trustfully, freeing up colleagues so they can focus on delivering their roles effectively. Start date: As soon as possible. We are open to waiting for a notice period to be worked, but it will be important that the successful candidate is able to join us within 4-6 weeks of being offered the role. Hours: Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9-5 pm. This is a 7.4-hour day plus an unpaid lunch break.
