SEMH Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: Work alongside experienced and highly trained SEN staff to support students with SEMH and other additional needs. Assist in the academic development of students, encouraging them to achieve their potential. Support students with personal care if required. What We're Looking For: Previous experience with children, young people, or adults with special needs is desirable but not essential. A caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting students with SEN. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team. A positive and empathetic attitude, with the ability to adapt your teaching style to suit the needs of each student. A willingness to support personal care needs when necessary. Essential Requirements: Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willingness to obtain one). Eligibility to work in the UK. A Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (Level 2 or above) or equivalent experience. Why This Role?
