Responsibilities:
1. Perform full lighting (and similar electrical technology such as camera systems) installations to a range of truck and trailer HGVs. This may include fitment of OEM wiring looms but also hard wiring into a junction box.
2. Fitment of individual electrical components including wiring into a PLC and ensuring all specification requirements are met.
3. Perform fault finding and diagnostics work for HGV electrical faults using a range of diagnostics equipment.
4. Perform a range of electrical repairs required to truck and trailers, as well as individual components.
5. Mainly site-based work but some travel, possibly in urgent circumstances, may be required.
6. Undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.
7. Provide high customer service levels whilst working to specified deadlines.
8. Adhere to the company’s health & safety policies and procedures.
9. Conduct oneself in a consistent manner that always demonstrates TIP values & behaviours.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Time served experience working on 24v electrics with most leading truck and trailer manufacturers and types.
2. City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications in similar areas would be an advantage.
3. High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills.
4. Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
5. Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
6. Initiative to work autonomously if required.

Job type:
Permanent full-time – 10 hour shift, Mon-Fri with 30 mins paid break per day and 1 hr per day unpaid lunch break.
