About the role
The Senior Analyst is part of a team who are accountable for supporting the delivery of efficient and effective supplier funding processes across the Boots UK & Ireland business.
You will work with all levels across the Trading Function, Finance and External providers to ensure an accurate and timely delivery of processes are managed. You will develop and maintain working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
You will manage the internal audit recovery on the Supplier Funding area, alongside this you will also support with the delivery of projects impacting the Supplier funding process. This will involve:
1. Support with the delivery of WBA finance transformation / change initiative projects.
2. Business partnering with the category trading areas to manage and own the delivery of supplier funding into the business.
3. Be a main point of contact and escalation for the project team to deliver business readiness activities, working directly with the Supplier Funding team, project team, trading and suppliers.
4. Promote and drive continuous improvement linking in with the project team.
5. Coordinate the roll out of any supplier funding process changes with the Supplier Funding Team ensuring that they are trained in new ways of working.
6. Monitoring the output of our third-party Recovery Auditors, holding them to account on agreed targets.
7. Identify where Supplier Funding process improvements are required to mitigate future leakage risk.
8. Complete validations on external and internal claims.
9. Contribute to simplification projects to drive efficiency across end-to-end supplier funding processes.
10. Engagement with commercial stakeholders on leakage risks.
What you'll need to have
1. Working knowledge of computer software systems and accounting procedures along with having excel skills.
2. We are looking for a motivated multi-tasker, with excellent organisational skills.
3. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
4. Effective communication skills with a will to deliver and ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally.
5. Be influential and confident to manage challenge and competing priorities.
