An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a reputable healthcare provider.
This role can be full-time or part-time, offering excellent benefits and a salary range of £37,330 - £44,960 for a 37.5-hour work week.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in neurology, specialist rehabilitation, or complex care settings.
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions for patients with acquired neurological conditions across areas such as neurorehabilitation, neurobehavioral management, and complex care.
You will be responsible for:
1. Create and implement personalised care plans and evidence-based therapy interventions.
2. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
3. Educate and assist patients and families with adaptive techniques to promote independence.
4. Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including community professionals and equipment providers.
5. Maintain accurate documentation in line with HCPC and RCOT standards.
6. Report to the Clinical Lead for Physiotherapy and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care.
What we're looking for:
1. Previously worked as an Occupational Therapist or in a similar role.
2. At least 2 years' experience in neurology, specialist rehabilitation, or complex care settings.
3. Understanding of relevant legislation and standards of professional practice.
4. Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy (or equivalent) with RCOT and HCPC registration.
5. Hold a HCPC certification.
6. Skilled in using assessment tools and delivering outcome-based therapy.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
