The Role:
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Service Technician to join our team based in Great Yarmouth.
As our Service Technician you will support with installing, maintaining and repairing Survitec products across one or more of our product categories.
You’ll work with the wider team to carry out preventive maintenance inspections, identifying and diagnosing any requirement for equipment and systems emergency repairs.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Represent Survitec professionally during customer interactions and use extensive product knowledge to understand and answer technical questions regarding service requirements.
2. Help specialists set up and test new products or processes; install complex systems according to training and competence level, seeking guidance and support where needed.
3. Work with business improvement colleagues to implement standard toolkit and use experience and work knowledge to contribute to problem solving for process variance, identifying root cause and appropriate corrective actions.
4. Develop knowledge and understanding of Survitec policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtains authorisation from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.
5. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; works towards competence in multiple product lines, to become part of a flexible service operations workforce.
6. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education and reading specialist materials.
7. Follows stores requisition processes to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
8. Understand, uphold and contribute to creating a safety-first culture within Survitec.

9. Educated to High School Level
10. Customer relations experience, delivering customer-centric solutions
11. Clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
12. Excellent problem solving skills, making sense of complex, high quality and sometimes contradictory information
