Role Description
To provide comprehensive Expense Management and Business Partnering support to the Allianz Change, IT, and Central functions. The role includes reporting of actual expense position with insightful narratives, forecasting & planning, and supporting financial appraisals including benefits.
As a Finance Business Partner you will be Accountable for:
1. Ownership of reporting of month-end expense results with insightful analysis and narrative
2. Meeting and presenting to stakeholders ranging from peers to ExCom members both in and outside of the Finance function. This includes an update on actuals as well as understanding what it means for the full year forecast
3. Being able to articulate how costs allocate to specific P&Ls and why, analysing the impact of any changes and variances
4. Liaising and working with Group colleagues
5. Creation of forecasts and annual plans inline with local and Group expectations
6. Adhoc queries and analysis
7. Looking for ways to continuously improve processes
Skills and Experience
1. Good working knowledge of management accounting practices including capitalisation
2. Examples of supporting senior stakeholders and having the confidence to make recommendations to them
3. Proven record of forecasting and budgeting
4. Be a self-starter who shows initiative and proactivity
5. The ability to integrate into and work as part of a team
6. A high level of accuracy & attention to detail
7. Data integration and problem-solving
8. Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
9. The ability to deal with ambiguity and manage different points of views to achieve the best outcome for the business
10. Ability to interrogate large volumes of data and present it as something meaningful
11. Strong IT skills across Microsoft product suite
12. SAP experience preferable
Qualifications & experience
1. Part qualified accountant (minimum). Ideally CIMA/ACCA
