Hours of work: 35 hours a week (Flexi-time at 7 hours each day. Core hours are 10am-4pm.)
Job Description/ Purpose:
The Lead/Senior Producer is responsible for ensuring the progress of all projects is planned and coordinated to stay on schedule and within budget. This role involves taking ownership of project coordination and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to guide game development and design teams towards deadlines. The Lead/Senior Producer will set and deliver milestones and be instrumental in the planning, forecasting, and budgeting stages of new projects.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day tasks of the production department and oversee company projects.
2. Define the scope of new projects: create its roadmap and timeline, establish key deliverables and milestones, and set its development strategies and budgets.
3. Collate and organize qualitative feedback from different sources to ensure successful production processes and project governance is upheld.
4. Monitor progress and coordinate with multiple teams to keep the project on pace.
5. Track progress and identify areas for improvements and solutions for any risks or issues raised.
6. Ensure timely delivery of company projects and seek areas of improvement to evolve processes, methods, and practices.
7. Provide reports on key statistics and metrics throughout the project life cycle as required.
8. Receive, advise, and assess company-wide risks from the production group to the Senior Leadership Team.
9. Provide clear and concise feedback to internal and external contacts as required.
10. Decide on long-term development schedules.
11. Work with internal departments to coordinate new projects and ensure projects stay on cost.
12. Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to team members and foster professional growth and development.
13. Interview and onboard new production staff to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise.
