Description
The Accounts Assistant (Fixed Term Contract) role's key responsibilities are as follows:
1. Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments.
2. Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices for clients, monitor accounts for overdue payments, and assist in debt recovery.
3. Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
4. General Ledger Support: Assist in posting journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
5. Data Management: Maintain and update financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting software.
6. Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide input into financial reports.
7. Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Profile
The successful candidate for the Accounts Assistant role at a New Media & Internet will have experience in some or all of the above responsibilities.
