ABOUT THE ROLE Our Bamford family is growing, and we are looking for a talented and passionate Retail Associate to join us at our beautiful spa at the Daylesford Farm, Gloucestershire. As a Retail Associate, you will be required to greet all clients and ensure they receive a 5 star service whilst in the Wellness Space. You will learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge to proactively engage with clients and maximise sales. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Wellness Space. You will follow the Bamford philosophy to the highest professional standard. This role is full time, based on 40 hours per week including weekends. Salary 11.77 per hour. RESPONSIBILITIES Retail Operations Management ; To oversee all retail activities within the spa, including product displays, stock levels, pricing, and merchandising. Ensure that all retail areas are clean, organized, and aligned with the spa's luxury aesthetic. Team Leadership; Manage and train a team of retail associates, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high standards of customer service. Lead by example in demonstrating excellent product knowledge and providing an elevated shopping experience. Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive retail sales by promoting products that align with the spa's offerings and guests' wellness needs. Set sales goals and work with your team to meet and exceed targets. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and order inventory as needed. Ensure that all retail products are stored properly, rotated for freshness, and that inventory records are up to date. Customer Experience; Provide personalized recommendations to guests, building strong relationships and fostering a loyal customer base. Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Visual Merchandising; Create stunning product displays that reflect the spa's luxury brand and attract guests. Ensure all products are displayed neatly and according to brand guidelines. Collaboration with Spa Team; Work closely with spa therapists and management to create synergies between treatments and products. Attend training sessions to stay updated on the latest products and spa services. Reporting & Analytics; Track sales performance, report on retail KPIs, and analyze customer preferences to recommend product assortment changes. Brand Ambassador; Uphold and enhance the spa's reputation as a luxury destination by representing the brand in a polished, professional manner at all times. SKILLS YOU WILL BRING Retail experience is a must, preferably in luxury or a high-end environment. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage and build relationships with high-net-worth clientele.
