Job overview
The role involves keeping the stores in a neat and clean manner and participating in stock taking and other department roles to contribute to overall department efficiency.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide support to Admin team, picking and storing stock to appropriate locations.
2. Check the delivery of Standard and Specialist equipment to ensure it conforms to what was requested from suppliers and receipt this into the BEST database.
3. Perform stocktaking of stock and wheelchairs.
4. Maintain regular communication and cooperation with other departments.
5. Liaise with supplier returns as required.
6. Prioritise, control and coordinate incoming work according to urgency.
7. Provide support to Service Manager as required.
8. Be flexible to the needs of the Department with regard to cover of duties.
9. Perform other duties appropriate to the grade as agreed between the post holder and manager.
