Based in either our Aberdeen or Inverness Head office, we now have an excellent opportunity for a Software Support Analyst (Software Tester), who will provide support for software systems developed in-house by OCCMS.
This role will ideally suit a candidate who holds a relevant qualification and has some experience of software testing and documenting test procedures, while also having knowledge and understanding of the following areas:
* Testing / QA of desktop, web and mobile applications.
* Providing first line support via email and telephone to resolve Client's issues.
* Logging incidents, bugs, and feature requests in the ticketing system.
* Updating documentation and Software User Manual.
Experience Skills Required:
* Software testing packages (SmartBear TestComplete, Selenium, Jira, etc.)
* Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2010 (preferable; no actual development skills required)
* Microsoft SQL Server 2012+
* Microsoft Office.
* Presentation and DTP software as required.
* Excellent written communication skills are essential.
* Good analytical skills and judgment with the ability to analyze and resolve problems, identifying practical solutions.
* Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry and commissioning terminology would be preferable.
* Preferably experience with software assembly/packaging/deployment.
