Job Duties:
* Provide tailored Maths and English intervention sessions to KS3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans to address specific learning challenges
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with classroom teachers and SEN coordinators to support students' overall academic development
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and intervention strategies
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Demonstrated proficiency in Maths and English curriculum for KS3
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching Maths and English to students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN support strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Organisational skills to track student progress effectively
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students in their homes
