Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality administrative support to the Medical Day Unit - Outpatient Department.
* Coordinate appointments, booking both new and follow-up appointments.
* Act as the first point of contact for patients.
* Liaise effectively with team and other healthcare professionals.
What we're looking for:
* GCSE's grade C and above in Maths and English or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a customer care or office environment.
* Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team or individually.
* Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Qualifications
* GCSE's Grade C and above in Maths and English or equivalent.
* Experience and training to Vocational Level 3 or equivalent.
* Computer Literacy and Information Technology (CLAIT).
* Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Previous Experience
* Experience in a customer care or office environment.
* Experience using Microsoft Office.
* Experience working in a reception area.
