Your Role As a key member of our Art Department, you will: Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3–5, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Deliver inspiring lessons in a variety of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art. Encourage critical thinking, independence, and experimentation through a rich and varied curriculum. Support students with portfolio development, particularly those applying to art foundation courses and top universities. Take an active role in the school’s cultural life, including exhibitions, competitions, and cross-curricular projects. Contribute to the department’s strategic development and enrichment programme, including clubs, workshops, and gallery visits. ✅ What We’re Looking For We are seeking a confident and committed teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong academic background in Art & Design. Has significant experience teaching Art, ideally in a selective or independent school setting. Is passionate about art education and committed to helping students develop their skills and creative identity. Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge, classroom practice, and assessment ability across all key stages. Can contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events. Has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with a collaborative approach to department and school life.
