Job Description Were looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join one of our prestigious clients based in Derby This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a background in production leadership to take on a key role within a dynamic and growing team. Youll play a pivotal role in overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring safety and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Due to the nature of the industry, all employees are subject to random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position What youll be doing Serve as the main point of contact for workshop staff, maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment while organising and prioritising tasks to meet production deadlines Build strong relationships with the Sales team, providing updates on lead times or delays Liaise with the Operations Manager to discuss team performance, training needs and any operational issues Oversee and enforce Health and Safety procedures Support the team, train new starters and implement continuous improvements Manage the shop floor and implement new systems as needed Manage route cards and coordinate tooling requirements Hours Monday-Thursday: 7am-3:30pm Friday: 7am-12pm Pay £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (Depending on Experience) Skills/Experience Required Essential Proven experience in implementing Continuous Improvement/5S strategies Strong ability to plan and prioritise work to meet production schedules Demonstrated leadership and team motivation experience Experience supervising skilled operators across various roles Excellent organisational skills and a high attention to detail Effective communication skills for stakeholder updates Ability to lead with confidence and manage workloads effectively Desirable Knowledge of welding processes Benefits 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Competitive salary Casual dress code Company events Company pension scheme Cycle to work scheme Employee discount Free or subsidised travel Free on-site parking Gym membership Health & wellbeing programme Private dental insurance Private medical insurance Employee referral programme Sick pay Flexible working hours and overtime available Early finish on Fridays Day shifts with canteen on-site Progression and development opportunities Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
