Statutory Accountant - fixed term contract
Statutory Accountant (Internal title Associate Manager, Accounting)
* Location: Frimley, Surrey
* Function: SSC Finance/Tax
We are looking for someone to cover a maternity absence with a background in UK statutory accounting. The right person will have a recognised accounting qualification and experience in preparing statutory accounts, ideally under IFRS and consolidated accounts. The role performs a 'head office' function for the statutory accounting so you will work with multiple business partners to collect, aggregate and prepare the accounts and as such will be a key contact with external auditors.
This role is a fixed term contract for a maternity cover
Experience you'll bring:
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Experience of preparing consolidated accounts (IFRS preferred) and leading on the Group audit
* Previous experience of providing Business Partnering support
* Strong Excel knowledge
* Recognised and relevant accounting qualification
* UK tax knowledge would be an advantage
