SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Salary: £43,805.99 - £47,805.90 per annum (potential to earn further allowances for AP duties)
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 42 hours per week
Location: Cheltenham, GL51 0EX

We are looking to recruit a Shift Supervisor to join our friendly team at a prestigious building in Cheltenham to run the site and supervise the shift team who undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Works. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week across a rolling shift pattern of 2 days(7am - 7pm), 2 nights(7pm - 7am), 4 days off. Overtime is available or may be required from time to time to ensure continuity of cover.
Responsibilities:
Supervise in-house team of Engineers, mentoring, training and reviewing work as required.
Coordination of on-site contractors, ensuring their work is satisfactorily completed in line with SLA’s.
Ensure all planned maintenance tasks are completed within the designated programme to enable full compliance.
Monitor site operation and utilise BMS, ENMS and FMIS outputs to optimise service delivery.
Respond to defects, faults and client requests, providing excellent customer service and work with others to identify and provide solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Maintain records and produce regular and ad hoc reports as required.
Undertake auditing, review productivity, drive innovation and quality within service delivery.
Address all HR issues from direct reports involving the line manager/HR team where appropriate and undertake development reviews with the team.
Responsible for safe and efficient performance of Hard FM delivery out of hours.
Ensure sickness and leave is covered in conjunction with other Supervisors and to be available to provide cross team support as necessary.
Willingness to train towards AP duties in electrical, mechanical or confined spaces (attracts further pay allowances depending on trade bias).
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Essential Criteria:
NVQ Level Electrical or Mechanical bias.
Experience of monitoring/managing BMS systems.
5 years experience working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment.
IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
Desirable Criteria:
IWFM Level 3 or willingness to undertake after starting.
