Burghley Estate is looking for an Events Coordinator to join our team and support the Head of Events in delivering an exciting and diverse range of events. From weddings and corporate dinners to teambuilding activities, food festivals, and our renowned Christmas Fair, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Being the first point of contact for clients, managing enquiries, event logistics, and on-the-day coordination.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers.
* Provide clear guidance and support to clients, suppliers, and exhibitors.
* Track and document customer enquiries, preparing detailed event proposals.
* Assist in preparing internal function sheets in the lead-up to events.
* Conduct client site visits to Burghley, including wedding show rounds.
* Ensure all events comply with Health and Safety procedures.
* Be hands-on in the delivery of events, ensuring seamless execution.
* Be flexible and available to work outside regular office hours, including evenings and weekends.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be passionate about events and delivering exceptional experiences at Burghley.
* Have strong administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Be highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
* Remain calm under pressure and be adaptable to changing event needs.
* Work well independently and as part of a team.
* Be friendly, approachable, and proactive in problem-solving.
