Are you an Accounts Senior, Accounts Manager or Management Accountant seeking a varied role in a friendly team, where you can help develop and mentor other team members?
Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for the running of the department managing 3 members of staff.
Salary - £35,000 per annum
Hours of work - Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Annual leave allowance - 35 days
Location - Malvern Wells, Worcestershire
Responsibilities -
1. Year-end Accounts - 13 sets of accounts to Trial balance
2. Self-Assessment - Maintain all personal account records and report/ liaise / assist Accountants
3. Manage financial processes.
4. Loans & Mortgage Schedules - Maintain /update and ensure paid on time - currently 55 mortgages across 21 bank accounts.
5. Assets & Liabilities - Maintain and update schedules
6. Sales / Purchase Ledger checks 1
7. Credit card reconciliations
8. Payroll for up to 80 staff - salaried, hourly, daily and weekly paid.
9. Pensions - Monthly/ Annual pension submissions
10. HMRC - PAYE submissions & Payments & Employment allowance claims.
11. Payroll journals/deferred income/interest/interco transactions.
12. Manage BrightPay - adding new staff, enrolling in pensions, P45's and P 60s.
13. Manage staff holiday, seek approval from line managers and record.
14. VAT Returns
