About the Role
Arcare is looking for a Procurement Administrator to assist the Procurement Manager in identifying and coordinating preferred suppliers for Arcare operations and administering the ongoing management of a centralized database and contracts. The position will work closely with the operations of the organisation to deliver optimally priced and appropriate products to meet the ongoing needs of Arcare clients.
Skills and Experience
1. Previous experience in a similar position (desirable)
2. Membership of a professional procurement association (advantageous)
3. Experience in the Aged Care industry (desirable but not essential)
4. Advanced skills in all Microsoft programs, especially Excel
5. Experience in contract management (desirable)
6. Proven ability to develop positive relationships to influence and negotiate change
7. Pragmatic and logical in approach
8. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
9. High attention to detail
10. Proven decision maker with a strong work ethic
11. Reliable car and current Driver’s License as travel is required.
