Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to expand our advanced clinical practice service within Trauma by appointing a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner. This individual will join the team to help deliver advanced trauma care to our complex patient group.
The post holder will undertake a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice utilising their day to day experience to underpin their skills.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient individual with a keen interest and experience in caring for patients with traumatic injuries. The advanced clinical practice service delivers care seven days a week and therefore the individual appointed will need to work full time and be flexible in relation to working days.
Main duties of the job
* Work in alignment with the four pillars of advanced practice on a day to day basis.
* Support the nursing teams caring for trauma patients throughout the John Radcliffe hospital.
* Act as support for the rotating junior doctors within the trauma service and continuity for the Consultant groups.
Person specification
* Minimum 3 years post registration experience
* Demonstration of Level 7 academic studies
