We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring person to work within our existing physiotherapy team providing a high standard of care as part of the inpatient physiotherapy service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential, whilst experience of working in therapies or healthcare would also be advantageous.
Within the role you will:
1. Provide clinical assessment and treatments under the supervision of qualified staff.
2. Prepare and maintain safe clinical areas and maintain stock levels.
3. Provide administrative support to the orthopaedic team and physiotherapy department.
4. Implement physiotherapy treatments to facilitate maximal recovery of function and co-ordinated, timely discharges from hospital.
5. Provide individual treatment programmes for specified client groups within framework agreed by professional group.
6. Assist Physiotherapists and Therapy Technicians to provide treatment programmes on the wards.
7. Assist patients with dressing/undressing as required and enable patients to safely participate in their therapy session.
To prepare and maintain clinical areas for safe practice and maintain supplies of stock within the department.
