Job Description Join us as a summer internship for 8 - 12 weeks in our nuclear division in Glasgow or Altrincham. Our nuclear division plays a pivotal role in complex projects including decommissioning, new build development, major refurbishments and developing nuclear technologies. It is an exciting time to join the nuclear division; with nuclear very much part of the energy mix for transition to lower carbon emissions and net zero future. The team are at the leading edge on important large-scale projects and developing technology which will have a lasting legacy. You’ll be working with graduates, experienced professionals, and other students so an internship with us is the perfect opportunity to learn from a variety of people while understanding our values and culture. Candidate Specification To join us for a summer placement you must currently be at university in your penultimate year and studying for a degree in one of the below subjects Nuclear Engineering Physics Chemical Engineering Chemistry As well as this we are looking for students who can demonstrate the following characteristics. A methodical approach to problem solving The ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently. Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members. Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
