Paralegal
Personal Injury Department – Nottingham
This is an opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced paralegal to join our busy Personal Injury department based in Nottingham City Centre.
Our Personal Injury department specialises in claiming compensation for those who have suffered injuries as a result of serious road accidents, clinical negligence, criminal assaults and historic abuse.
We have varied clinical negligence cases including contaminated blood, abdominal mesh matters and vaccine damage.

Candidate
You will:
• Have good oral and written communication skills
• Have excellent client focused skills and an ability to engage with the client whilst being supportive and empathetic
• Have competent legal drafting skills
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Maintain a high attention to detail
• Be proficient using Microsoft Word 365 (Outlook, Word and Excel etc)
• Have good time management skills in order to meet targets and ensure deadlines are complied with
Key Responsibilities
You will:
• Interact with clients and professionals daily, either on the telephone, via video conferencing or in person
• Support senior case workers working on progression and management of case files
• Undertake fee earning responsibilities such as legal research, drafting of proformas and court documents as necessary
• Maintaining case files
• Comply with the firm’s Office Manual
• Maintain client confidentiality and legal professional privilege
• Actively promote office relations with clients, their families and potential new clients (public relations)
Candidate to have Bachelor’s degree (LL.B) in Law (or equivalent). Preference will be given to those who have completed the LPC / SQE or intend to do so on a part time basis.
