Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity to make a real difference? We are seeking a committed individual to join a primary SEN provision in Peacehaven, working with children aged 4-7 years who have a range of additional needs.
About the Role:
* Supporting children with Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, trauma, visual impairments, and complex communication needs, including non-verbal pupils.
* Working closely with a team to provide structure, stability, and a nurturing environment.
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities, sensory needs, and emotional regulation.
* Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour with a positive and patient approach.
* Helping to create a consistent learning environment, avoiding the disruption of frequent supply changes.
