Despatch, Warehouse and Logistics, the heartbeat of any manufacturing business in the country. It's a pretty important role and needs to be done properly for the whole and wider business to be as efficient as it can be.
Retail Graphics and Events & Exhibitions. Carefully planned, meticulously executed; As long as everything arrives on time. This is where you come in. With a limited number of their own fleet, you'll be tasked with running the despatch department which incorporates warehouse, stock, transport & logistics division for this £multimillion print company.
We need a bit of an allrounder here, you'll be working internally with all the other departments and clients. Deadlines and processes to follow so you'll have to be used to this environment. Being an experienced despatch professional you'll be well aware that sometimes things go wrong. The ability to manage the situation, react and sort it out will be required.
The world of Print across the Large Format Graphics, Events and Exhibitions is demanding. As is Warehouse and Logistics. Your world outside of work has to be flexible as sometimes, unsociable hours are needed. Occasionally nights / weekends depending on the workload. It's very unlikely in all honesty but sometimes projects can be, lets say, last minute!
All that said, it's very rewarding. Nobody has done this role previously. You'll have the ability and autonomy to make it your own. Reporting directly into the Production Director. The role will be rewarded well with a package that is reflective of the current market conditions.
Regardless of your current package / base salary, if you're experienced in logistics, planning transport, routes, delivery, despatch and are at least open to a conversation about a new role (Of course you are, you're on this advert) then get in touch.
No CV needed, if you have one great but the client and I, are firm believers all good things start with a chat over a brew
