Job summary Do you have experience of working in prisons or the wider criminal justice system? The Senior Engagement Officer will provide a vital role in ensuring that those in custody are able to influence decisions made about the healthcare services and delivery of services within their secure establishments. The post holder will work as part of our Prison Patient Engagement Team and will be located in the South East, ensuring the successful delivery of our NHS commissioned contract. The post holder will be working directly with vulnerable and seldom heard groups of prisoners by getting their feedback on the healthcare they receive and supporting them to make recommendations for improvements. This includes exploring the care they receive from doctors, nurses, mental health provisions, sexual health and much more.
