This role is part of a small team of HR generalists, providing a comprehensive, flexible and efficient HR service to the Crown business on site (and other sites). Predominately supporting recruitment and selection, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee wellbeing for all of Crown employees., The role will consist of:
* Support with talent management initiatives via various processes.
* Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
* Support managers and team leaders with their leadership development through coaching and feedback, assisting managers where necessary with employee development discussions.
* Support with employee engagement initiatives including working alongside the business to implement action plans and working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships.
* Support with selection processes and act as a point of escalation for HR Officers including overseeing the onboarding processes.
* Design and delivery/facilitation of training sessions and workshops as necessary across all functions/levels.
* Manage the preparation and delivery of internal communications to various departments.
* Support to the compensation management process - salary review, payroll and personnel cost forecasting.
* Support to UK Benefits management (Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Company cars, Life Assurance etc) and governance process.
* Ownership of HR Metrics
* Support with employee relations, absence management complex cases or as point escalation.
* Actively identify gaps, proposes, and implement changes necessary to cover risks.
* Deputise for HR Director or HR Manager as required.
* Ad hoc projects as required.

+ Degree or relevant qualification in HR or related subject + CIPD Level 5 in Human Resource Management + (desirable) CIPD qualified to PGDip Level 7 in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
* Previous Experience in:
+ Recruitment and Selection + Relevant experience in a HR role managing the entire remit of HR activities including D&G. + Design of HR Policies + Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing policies and procedures. + Previous experience of handling complex employee relations cases, + (desirable) Recruitment of R&D, IT and Finance Staff + (desirable) Experience of using Cascade, SAP, or similar HRIS + (desirable) Experience working in a global matrix organisation. + (desirable) Experience leading projects. + (desirable) Experience implementing talent management strategies. + (desirable) ISO and/or SOX compliance
* Skills and competencies:
+ Up-to-date knowledge of employment law. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across different levels of the organisation, and with multiple stakeholders. Public speaking. + Proficient with Microsoft Office. + (desirable) Using HR Metrics + (desirable) Managed recruitment agencies + (desirable) Designed benefits, + Ability to organise and prioritise workload and to drive project work with a minimum of supervision. + Ability to problem-solve independently and work autonomously. + Ability to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers and stakeholders - requires strong listening, coaching and questioning skills with high emotional intelligence and a curious nature. + Ability to work as part of a team. + Continuous improvement mindset. + (desirable) European language
