Site Supervisor - Groundworks - Gatwick Airport - Airside Experience Essential
A leading civil engineering firm, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Supervisor to join our team on a challenging and dynamic groundworks project at Gatwick Airport. This is an opportunity to contribute to a project that will enhance the airport's infrastructure while working in a unique and demanding environment.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and supervise a team of groundworkers on site, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all groundworks activities.
* Maintain high standards of quality and safety, ensuring adherence to project specifications and all relevant regulations.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and manage project resources effectively.
* Ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget, while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Communicate effectively with the project manager, site engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Adhere to stringent security protocols and procedures required for working airside at Gatwick Airport.
What We Need:
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in groundworks projects, ideally within a similar airport or complex infrastructure environment.
* Essential: Demonstrated experience working airside at an airport, including a thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and enforce the highest safety standards.
