Are you ready to join an organisation that helps thousands of young people a year as they transition to adulthood? Do you like systems, processes & compliance and supporting people to understand and follow them?
We are looking to find a driven and collaborative leader to work primarily from our Youth Centre in Exeter, Newton Abbot or Exmouth depending on your home address. You will be joining us at the beginning of a new era for our organisation, supporting the evolution of our Services to youth people. In this role, you will work alongside leadership colleagues to ensure all areas of compliance and support to our various teams are delivered. Key activities to expect
.Lead a team of cross-discipline colleagues to ensure effective governance, procedural systems, risk management and operation support services are in place and we achieve our ambition to be safe and compliant but dynamic and innovative
.Reporting to board at regular intervals in all matters relating to governance and risk
Health & Safety Officer role for the organisation and related oversight inc security
.Managing expenditure, contracts and lease arrangements relating to buildings & vehicles
.Oversee contract and procurement arrangements for services, assets, insurance, governance and compliance items.
.To be committed to reducing our environmental impact and carbon footprint in line with targets, and lead on policy development and implementing action plans
.Support space trustees with governance best practices, statutory requirements, governance audits and risk assessments, to include staying informed about changes in charity legislation and governance practices.
