Reliability and Compliance Manager ( Engineering) Humdinger, Bromborough CH62 3RD Humdinger is seeking a skilled Reliability and Compliance Manager to lead the charge in optimising equipment and processes at our Bromborough site. This vital role focuses on increasing equipment uptime, reliability, and efficiency while ensuring all compliance requirements are met. By analysing data, identifying issues, and implementing innovative solutions, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving equipment and operational standards across the site. Position type: Permanent, full time Hours: 37.5 per week Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 Develop and implement maintenance regimes for all assets, with detailed job instructions and resources. Analyse equipment failure data, identify patterns, and conduct root cause analyses to prevent issues. Introduce and refine procedures to monitor and test equipment performance and reliability. Enhance the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support data-driven decision-making. Identify tasks suitable for autonomous maintenance by the operations team and develop SOPs. Ensure critical spares are available for all assets and maintain an up-to-date technical library. Organise and manage compliance requirements to ensure legal and regulatory adherence. Support and lead continuous improvement and development projects, working closely with cross-functional teams. Oversee safe systems of work for engineering tasks and contribute to site health and safety initiatives. Manage contractor control processes and maintain non-production assets as needed. Essential: HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant qualifications. Experience with CMMS systems. Proven background in reliability and compliance. Proficient in IT and computer systems. Full UK driving licence. Strong communication skills and a “can-do” attitude. Desirable: Experience in the food industry. Dual-skilled with 17th/18th Edition qualifications. Background in Lean, TPM, or RCM. Experience in writing SOPs and Safe Systems of Work. H&S qualifications. Root cause analysis expertise.
