What will you be doing
The International Channel Partner Manager is responsible for developing, managing and expanding the company's global Channel Partner network. This role aims to drive sales growth, enhance partner relationships and ensure that partners have the necessary resources and support to effectively promote and sell the company's products and services. The position requires a results-driven, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the international education market and the ability to align partner strategies with the company's business goals.
Key responsibilities will include
* Identify, recruit and onboard new international Channel Partners to expand the company's global reach.
* Develop and implement partner enablement programs to ensure partners are well-trained and equipped to sell the Company's products.
* Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with existing channel partners.
* Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify opportunities for growth and address any issues or concerns.
* Collaborate with Channel Partners to develop and execute sales strategies that achieve revenue targets.
* Monitor and analyse partner pipeline and sales performance, providing guidance and support to maximize sales effectiveness.
* Conduct extensive market research to identify new opportunities and potential markets for expansion.
* Work with the marketing team to develop co-marketing initiatives, campaigns and promotional activities.
* Ensure that partners have access to up-to-date marketing materials and product information.
* Provide ongoing training and support to partners on product features, sales techniques and industry trends.
* Act as a point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries and providing solutions to ensure partner satisfaction.
* Track and report on partner performance metrics, including sales, pipeline, stock requirements and customer satisfaction using our internal CRM.
* Prepare regular reports for senior management on the status of the Channel Partner program and its contribution to overall business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience for the role
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations or a related field. A Master’s degree is a bonus but not essential.
* Significant experience in Channel Partner management, sales or business development, preferably in an international context.
* Strong understanding of the global education market and international business practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth through Channel Partners.
* Proficiency in CRM software and other sales enablement tools.
* Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.
* Highly motivated and results-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel internationally as needed (20%)
