We look for qualified teaching assistants who hold the relevant certifications, such as a Level 3 qualification (desirable) in Supporting Teaching and Learning, along with first aid and safeguarding training. Experience in working with primary-aged children, particularly those with special educational needs, is essential. We value strong communication skills, the ability to assist with classroom management, and a solid understanding of the primary curriculum. Patience, adaptability, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude are crucial for supporting our students effectively. We also seek candidates who can work well as part of a team, maintain professionalism, respect confidentiality, and show a commitment to ongoing professional development. Above all, we want teaching assistants who are passionate about helping children succeed and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
