Operations Supervisor / Operations Coordinator
WTA Energy, part of the WTA Group, is a specialist freight forwarding and logistics service provider for Energy Industries worldwide.

5. Energy Infrastructure – Grid upgrades, cables, power lines, transformers, substations.
Location: Initially remote until the office opens, thereafter based onsite.
Key Role:
Support the operations of WTA Energy UK Ltd, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction, while working towards organisational objectives. Collaborate with the operations team and senior management to achieve operational excellence. A strong working knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Support and Coordination:
2. Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure tasks are completed on time and clients’ needs are met.
3. Manage pricing, invoicing, accruals, and P&L tracking, maintaining accuracy and thoroughness.
4. Address non-conformance reports (NCRs) and propose areas for operational improvement.
5. Maintain internal systems like PAVE, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.
6. Participate in internal meetings, client visits, and presentations to support operational goals.
7. Work with colleagues to identify and implement operational efficiencies.
8. Planning and Process Improvement:
9. Assist in the implementation of operational strategies in coordination with senior team members.
10. Identify bottlenecks in processes and recommend improvements to optimise workflow.
11. Team Support:
12. Provide guidance/support to team members, ensuring work quality and adherence to procedures.
13. Facilitate interdepartmental communication to promote collaboration.
14. Performance Monitoring:
15. Track and report on KPIs to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
16. Provide updates to management regarding operational progress and any challenges encountered.
17. Compliance and Risk Management:
18. Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
19. Support the identification and mitigation of risks within day-to-day operations.
20. Stakeholder and Customer Focus:
21. Deliver high service standards to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
22. Build and foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
23. Technology and Innovation:
24. Support the integration of new technologies and systems to improve efficiency.
25. Encourage the team to explore innovative ideas to drive operational improvements.

2. Familiarity with multimodal logistics, including Air/Sea Imports and Exports, Road Freight, Customs, and procurement.
