The EFL Teacher role: Chichester English Language School is the British Council accredited EFL department of Chichester College, part of the Chichester College Group. We are looking for a full time, permanent EFL Teacher. You will have a CELTA (or equivalent) qualification in EFL and a degree as well as experience of teaching in this field. You will have a high standard of professionalism, be able to work at a fast pace and cope efficiently with record keeping and other administrative duties as well as teaching. You will also need to have a passion for teaching as well as an innovative and creative approach, with a focus on student learning. You will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching and learning using up to date resources. Key Responsibilities of our EFL Teacher: Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed. Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner. Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters in a timely manner. Delivering best practice in curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration British Council guidelines. Utilitising CLASS, GEL and other information systems as directed to improve efficiency and the student experience. Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding. Attending training on current developments in EFL teaching practice.
