Find your future at Revvity The Laboratory Operations department offers routine testing service for the analysis of T-cells to aid in the diagnosis of, and investigation of infectious diseases using the company’s own T-SPOT technology as well as innovative research techniques. The Oxford Diagnostic Laboratory (ODL) within the Laboratory Operations department provides a UKAS accredited routine diagnostic service to UK clinical services, and the Certimmune function within Laboratory Operations participates in ground-breaking research including collaboration with Pharma companies. This is a part-time role - 22.5 hours per week. Hours: 07:30am until 12pm. Role description • Receiving, labelling and handling patient samples on a daily basis, from Tuesday to Saturday, following the laboratory standard operating procedures at all times. • Booking/Signing-in samples in a timely manner while ensuring the highest quality of work and accuracy of documentation. • Assisting laboratory staff with the preparation of tests/assays, following the instructions and protocols provided. • Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and space, ensuring proper functioning and supporting calibration. •Assisting laboratory staff with the removal of waste, including recycling and hazardous waste, and restocking of laboratory supplies. • Completing administration tasks to a high standard, ensuring all entries are accurate and contemporaneous. •Performing general administration of all documentation. • With assistance from more senior staff, prioritise workload to ensure key targets and objectives are met on time. • Communicating effectively with laboratory staff and management, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism. • Assisting management and laboratory staff as required with any further items or duties. • Performing duties in other departments, on an occasional basis, to meet critical Company objectives as required. • Ensuring that the Quality Management System, including, ISO 13485:2016, and ISO 17025:2017, is adhered to at all times and in all aspects of the job. • Follow company and departmental Health and Safety Policies at all times. • Working to the Company Values at all times. Role requirements •Educated to GCSE standard. •An interest in healthcare. • Knowledge of Windows and Office based applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. • Ability to organise and prioritise work loads. Desirable Technical skills and abilities • Previous experience in a laboratory setting or a similar role. • An understanding of the healthcare, diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industries. LI-EMEA
