Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or who have been bereaved. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, we support families across Surrey, north-west London and south-west London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care. About the role You will join our team of experienced nurses, delivering care to children and young people with complex and palliative care needs at home, in hospital or at our Guildford based hospice, Christopher’s. You’ll work alongside other professionals delivering care within the community, helping to shape and build our 24/7 community service and being supported to work as an autonomous practitioner within a supportive team. About you The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and have at least 2 years’ experience of children’s nursing. There will be lots of opportunity for networking and you will share your knowledge and skills, as well as learn from other healthcare professionals.
