At Culina we have a winning culture, we believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired Job Description Joining IPS as Planning and Account Manager, you will work closely with the Operation, Supply Chain, Suppliers and Customers will be accountable for the creation of the week to week production schedule with your team, giving the Operation the very best chance of meeting company efficiency targets & ensuring delivery in full. Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 Key Duties of the Planning and Account Manager Overseas the creation of weekly production schedule and works orders within our Operations & Planning system Vision with Ownership of the production plan Focal point for managing SAP change requirements from customer into company. Work closely with the operation on a daily basis to ensure planned targets and customer deadlines are being met & priorities are advised. Link in with Sales & Operations team through regular meetings, to escalate any plan target shortfalls. Manage plans in conjunction with Material availability working on a push / pull basis. Administer material data through IPS and Customer systems Targeted with reducing packaging and raw material waste Liaise with our customer and our suppliers regarding Non-Conforming deliveries. Manage team of Material Planners and Stock Team ensuring smooth process, reporting KPIs against defined objectives. Ensure Stocks levels are managed in accordance with agreed limits, Smooth planning of inbound stock and vehicles within the capacity of the site. Responsible for maximising availability whilst minimising stock holding across the short, medium and long-term planning horizon identifying capacity bottlenecks and initiating plans to rectify them. Co-ordinate the schedule of all materials to be available for site to call off in line with the forecasted requirements within the necessary lead-times, Use dual visibility of customer and company systems to drive improvements in the planning process Work closely with the Senior Management to ensure any contract development and improvements are actioned internally and understood across both the company and customer, Work closely with the site team to ensure any new customer launches are delivered in line with customer requirements Attendvarious production and planning meetings, understanding joint business priorities to drive efficiency gains. Use the knowledge of company to benefit customer in hitting their specific targets and streamlining plans where appropriate Ensure the business maintains safe ways of working. Provide safe systems of work and procedures. Report all issues that compromise an individual or the business. Escalate any operational issues to the General Manager. Be a role model for others at all times and demonstrate the company and client behaviours and values Qualifications Considerable experience in supply chain planning or operational role Experience of Production Planning & Material planning/Scheduling within an administrative team in a production environment SAP experience, Experience using MRP systems and Proficient in Excel Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner an open and collaborative culture Listen and encourage new ideas from others Get results through positive relationships Excellent attention to detail and the confidence to work independently and part of the team Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance Forward planning and delivery and able to prioritise quickly in an entrepreneurial environment and a commitment to respond to changing customer needs Always aim to exceed expectations keep going until you find a way, think differently to challenge the norm and displays a positive attitude to change Additional Information As part of our drive to make IPS a great place to work.
