Position: Full-Time
Requirements:
1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in Biology (or a related subject).
2. Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach A Level Biology.
3. Experience in planning, delivering, and assessing Biology lessons at a secondary level.
4. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
5. Excellent classroom management skills with a passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Deliver high-quality A Level Biology lessons, ensuring students grasp complex concepts and achieve their academic goals.
7. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and exam board standards.
8. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and engagement.
9. Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback to help them excel in their studies.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best practices are shared and curriculum objectives are met.
