This is an exciting opportunity for experienced cyber consulting business development candidates who can collaborate with stakeholders ranging from C-suite clients to technical delivery teams. The role entails strategic client engagement and utilizing Aon’s portfolio of Cyber services to develop tailored sales propositions for Cybersecurity and Cyber Risk stakeholders.

About the Role
Your impact as a Vice President - Cyber Security Business Development:
1. Leading cyber security business development engagements across a range of consulting capabilities (from security consulting and testing to technologies and incident response).
2. Collaborating across the business to identify areas of opportunity.
3. Identifying requirements, qualifying opportunities, and winning new security consulting engagements.
4. Managing the sales cycle from developing leads to preparing proposals, managing pipeline, completing sales, and contributing towards revenue objectives.
5. Leveraging existing materials and frameworks to identify opportunities to support clients and articulate clear value-based propositions.
6. Maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders and collaborating to support Cyber Solutions thought leadership and campaigns.
7. Collaborating with colleagues within the firm to establish delivery and contracting arrangements (e.g., delivery model, business terms, fees, etc).
8. Formulating executive level recommendations and strategic programmes of work regarding cyber security.
9. Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company.
About You
Your knowledge and expertise:
1. A proven track record of cyber security sales experience in professional services.
2. Experience leading multiple capability proposal activities and interacting with C-suite level stakeholders.
3. Substantial stakeholder management and client engagement experience.
4. An informed understanding of the cyber security industry, business and commercial acumen, and exceptional communications skills.
5. Proven success in working in a team as well as independently and ability to lead new business opportunities.
6. Ability to handle multiple engagements with overlapping deadlines.
7. Ability to think strategically regarding sales opportunities.
8. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of technical and non-technical personnel.
9. Ability to collaborate across teams and physical locations, and flexibility to travel.
The following items are not required but would be considered a differentiator:
1. Experience successfully helping clients across a range of cyber security domains (e.g., consulting, tooling, managed services, systems integration).
2. Industry thought leadership activities, such as delivered conference talks and published content.
3. Fluency in an additional language other than English.
